So recently, every time I would insert my destiny disc, a pop up would show up saying I had to install an update (7.8 gigs approximately). I know I don't have to update it because the day before I was playing Destiny without an issue. I hit cancel, but then it starts to install the update. I hit cancel, hard reset the xbox, and insert the disc. This time I would insert the disc, the menu would pop, but then it would kick me to the dashboard. I would continuously start the game, but just when I insert the disc and the menu pops out, it kicks me out again. I inserted another game to see if it was just my xbox but I was able to play that game. So I was thinking maybe I should uninstall the game from my hard drive and re-install it. My question is if there's something I can do before I uninstall it? If not, when I do uninstall it, will I lose my characters and gear/weapons in my inventory?
