For the love God, please wave when you find the ether chest.
Don't be a jerk. Please wave when you find the chest. Especially in the bigger areas like the mothyards and the hellmouth. It's just common courtesy and the nice thing to do.

I always wave and then stand there for a bit until everyone that helped kill the pack of wolves gets to the chest. Some may say "I don't have time to stand around for a few seconds for some rando" to which I reply "Oh yes, I can see that your schedule is PACKED what with you farming ether chests and all" Be a Good Guy Greg. Er, Dreg?
