What Internet speed do YOU play Halo 3 on?
Hey all I'm making this post because just recently my family decided to amp up our connection speed a bit. And I was wondering what speed you all play on.
Curently I'm running at roughly a 1572 kb/s with a 384 kb/s upload. And supposedly in the next few days our connection will go up to 5 megs.
So, out of sheer curiosity, how fast is your connection and are you satisfied with it when you play Halo?

Download speed: 19650832 bps Upload speed: 737320 bps Quality of service: 98 % Download test type: socket Upload test type: socket Maximum download pause: 17 ms Average download pause: 1 ms Minimum round trip time to server: 17 ms Average round trip time to server: 18 ms More than happy with that. Nice low ping (latency).

wow im pretty jealous of everyone here..... I have a download speed of 1022Kb/S (bout 1 MB) and an upload speed of 317Kb/s......... I know. its terrible isnt it?

[/quote] your ping is probably through the roof. connections only need to be so good. your ping is what really matters.

So I got bumped up to 5 meg today, and holy crap the lag has been enormous. I don't know what wrong. All thats been changed is the freakin' modem. Oh wells. the speedtest puts me at 5000 kbs but i don't understand whats the dealio with live..

I'm on a wireless card, and my dl is 16,000, my upload is 3,000.

8882 kbps download, 1842 kbps upload. Comcast Cable. Sever: Houston, TX. Ping: 111ms. Distance: <50miles. Also I did another test and it said I had 15,336 kbps download. Is that fast? Don't know what any of that means. [Edited on 03.18.2009 4:27 PM PDT]
