What Internet speed do YOU play Halo 3 on?

Hey all I'm making this post because just recently my family decided to amp up our connection speed a bit. And I was wondering what speed you all play on. Curently I'm running at roughly a 1572 kb/s with a 384 kb/s upload. And supposedly in the next few days our connection will go up to 5 megs. So, out of sheer curiosity, how fast is your connection and are you satisfied with it when you play Halo? SpeedTest.net <- for checking the speed. •
Posted by: generator
Posted by: Recon Number 54 While download and upstream bandwidth are important, once they get to a certain level, they are no longer an issue when it comes to gaming connectivity. For example, here's mine on AT&T U-Verse Fiber. Once that minimum bandwidth is passed, the really important thing is the quality and consistency of your connection. VOIP (Voice Over IP) is similar to gaming in that the quality of the connection is important as is the timing and loss of packets. A good VOIP test can be found here, with my results.
in addtion to what you said ive heard ping is very important. do you agree? if so, how high is too high. thanks.
If your upstream Ping is above 400 ms then there woul be a problem although most people will cry and complain when they get above 100 ms...
