The adds, the poison that you have to deal with, not to mention dealing with the Fallen make Skolas the worst. I would rank Crota as the easiest, then Atheon, then Skolas as the toughest. Atheon is a pain with the teleporting and oracles, but nothing like the jumping around that Skolas does.

It would be much easier if Variks didn't add mines to the Skolas equation.

Agreed, I was fine with being the person who took the debuff every time skolas handed it out but the mines were stupid
