Strangest armor setup you have seen/used?

I tried the khepri's stings on a golden gunner once, good fun, catches people off guard when you slide around a corner and shotgun them from invisible, then throw a knife it their face and pop a golden gun into their team mates. Not the most effective set up though.

I don’t know if I have a strange set-up, but I have been trying to create a build centring around the scout rifle, with grenade and melee on my hunter, its taking time to find the right gear, but in PvE what I have at the moment is working quite well and I am slowly starting to find my feet in PvP. I would love any advice on what gear would help this.

  • I go invisible in trials while heavy ammo spawns, then when it reaches 3 secs I pop my golden gun

  • I don't get why Bladedancers use Celestial Nighthawk. Doesn't help them one bit, even at level 34.

    • Sometimes I run Purifier Robes on my Voidwalker. 100% Discipline and Strength mixed with Serpent's Mouth and Serpent's Tail combined with Energy Drain effect, The Hunger and Embrace The Void means grenades and melee for days!

    • I wouldn't say its strange. I ran this when everybody else was like "your a retard" but feedback fence on a defender. Sadly this is seeing more play, maybe I shouldn't have trolled so much with it. Anyway, armour of light on ward of dawn whilst capping zones. Oh, and wear sunsetting shader - it makes the fences less visually identifiable. If you can chain a few melees like this you end up going infinite with your super
