So many assholes in Crucible...
Was playing Iron Banner and already got about 16 hate mail basically tell me to either "go back to minecraft" or "youre a skill-less pussy" or "go to hell." Can't we all just have fun, or are we going to have to deal with these growing number of dicks.

I was playing on Shore of Time at the back of the map behind B and C. My team had it pretty locked down, not a single enemy was getting through, so I decided to play Hide and Seek. I found a tree that you could jump in and hid there. One enemy came around to try and flip the spawns didn't notice me. I saw him looking around for me, then once he saw me, BOOM, headshot. Then I ran as the game ended, 2nd place, my team won. That guy then started sending me hate mail calling me a "skill-less pussy and a camper." I just told him just to have fun, but then he got even angrier and the hate kept coming.

I think that was good strategy on your part - you didn't want to jeopardize your team's win by having the spawn flip and used a tactical method - nothing wrong with that.

Don't take it to heart :) instead, relish the hate you receive and/or return to sender xD

I just got two hatemails in Destiny. One calling me bad because I had a horrible kd in a game. In my defense, the game had a few points left and in an effort to get at least some points back, I tried capping point C and swap spawns to flank them. We've all been in such futile games. Second time was some random who wanted me to carry him through Crota with my team. First off, I don't have a team. Secondly, I wont carry anyone who I don't know. Thirdly, I was just switching weapons and all to go use my Titan. So after saying that, I immediately got a hatemail "You 32's are all the same selfish jerks."

I've never been directly messaged like that... Have had a few people compliment my armor and hit me up about being 34 literally a day after release... But never hate... You only get hate when you're a Final Round Scrub... Lol

2 RepliesArgue that this game's PvP doesn't really require much skill. If they're smart enough they'll think and realize you're right and stop playing the PvP.

Never get hate mail because: I never use an exotic hand cannon Never run a shotty Try not to use blink to my advantage Doesn't waste super in just one person just cause Always plays the objective if it is objective based

4 RepliesWell, me and my friends are in WRECKnation and that usually attracts a lot of hate mail anyway. But in doubles, so many people got salty, it was ridiculous. One match I was using Thorn and they guy called me a scrub for two tapping him. Funny how he was using Thorn too. Next game, we won by 1500 points and I started dancing and teabagging at the end because another popped his arc blade and I got a LitC shot and killed him. He sent me hate mail for acting like a child because it was supposedly a 'close' match. Funny how he's the one crying and then proceeds to call me a child. Last one was up against two guys using NLB who eventually switched to Last Word and Thorn and told me to 'learn how to use a real gun'. I'm pretty sure Thorn isn't imaginary. By the end I was just using Thorn to annoy people. I was helping my friend level his Titan who was 17 and he was support. I guess people get pissed when they face a guy better than them who's helping his teammate.

My favorite thing in iron banner was when people tried to pop infinite bubbles on a zone , so being the titan i am, i equipped my peregrine greaves and shoulder charged away killing 3 or 2 each life . I basically stopped them from doing the cheap method and got a hate message from a couple but to be honest i didn't care

I was playing an iron banner game and everyone on my team left except for me. I decided to stay until the end of the game just to see if I could fight back, but I ended up getting destroyed. After the game 2 different people sent me a message saying "sorry"
