I have went with conventional weapons in every game so far but I don't know about fallout 4, the energy weapons could be pretty awesome. What type of weapons will you be using?

I generally pick guns, but the images of plasma snipers and laser shotguns are getting to me...
-
2 RepliesI consider an energy weapon a gun since it just shoots lazer rounds
-
Energy weapons are good an all, but guns are where it's at.
-
Used both in 3, guns in NV.
-
Neither, melee and unarmed master race.
-
Both, maybe a few that fire both types of ammo
-
Both. I aint no pussy ass pacifist
-
Energy Weapons, as always.

3 RepliesWho's the retard who wouldn't use both?

2 RepliesIt's post apocalyptic survival. Beggars can't be choosers!
-
3 RepliesI'm gonna role Melee/Unarmed because its hype as can be.

Depends on the availability of hardcore mode, if there is one ballistics just for weight at least on that play through.
-
Both, also, cryo weapons will be a thing
-
Guns are easier to find/craft ammo for.
-
Both my friend.

1 ReplyWhatever weapon I could find

I'm going to go with conventional arms. I've mained energy weapons twice before, and i've learned my lesson the hard way. That lesson being: there is never enough f*cking ammo for energy weapons!! Shame. I find energy weapons to be more fun.

I always use conventional firearms in Fallout because there are more of them.

Laser Sniper? Really? The point of sniping is to take your shot and be gone so your targets don't know where you shot from. A laser sniper is just a way of announcing to the world "HERE I AM!!!!".

Energy weapons for days

I generally only use melee weapons, although it wasn't that great in Fallout 3. A bit better in New Vegas. I'm hoping Fallout IV has a lot going for it in terms of melee.

Both… I usually try to stick with what is easily repaired at the moment as well as available ammo. As that changes, I try to adapt, while squirreling away the more exotic weapons for the tougher endgame stuff.
