My Lil Sis's Opinion on Bronies
My little sister is 9. Just today she discovered the new season of My Little Pony was on Netflix. About halfway through her massive binge of the new season, I asked her if she thought the show could appeal to older audiences. She replies with "Maybe a few years older than me...or for parents who want to show their kids cool shows...or just weird people." I then asked her what she thought about how a large portion of the MLP fanbase is made up of full-grown adults. She laughed a bit, then said "They're crazy. This is a kid's show. Some shows like Spongebob are good for older people, but this show is for girls like my age".
What do you guys think about that?

Eh, as a brony (that word took me sometime to type... dang autocorrect) all I could really say is that I'll respect her opinion. I mean, we shouldn't judge others just for being so different, but I am guessing that is just how she views it.

1 ReplyTo some of the bronies below: There is a difference between watching a show intended for younger audiences, and making your life revolve around that show (drawing fan art, fanfiction, etc.) The former is a bit strange and the latter is completely weird.
