Stop these cheats on console!

All these devices that provide an advantage over standard controllers on console should not be allowed.
This is the second mouse/keyboard device for ps4, this time with turbo buttons!
The elite controller on xbone falls into this category as well.
Why are licenses for these things devices given by manufacturers?
Edit: to be clear, I would have no problem if this/these options were bundled with every console. It's the pay for competitive advantage thing that shouldn't be allowed.
Edit2: as I wasn't completely clear with my title, I was referring to the control methods as cheats, not the players.

2 RepliesOK, calm down yungin', if the creators of the systems/games included functionality for that piece of hardware, its not cheating. Modifying a controller your self is. And even then, that's just being a duche. No, real cheating was when you had to memorize an intricate combinations of imputs. For example: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, select, start = konami universal cheat code

1 ReplyIf ps4 and xbox one allows it there's nothing you can do. It's one thing modding a console or game but when it just comes to controllers I don't think it's a huge deal. But don't blame the gamers for having options, blame Sony and Microsoft for allowing such things and not preventing any of it.

1 ReplyIt's not cheating. Its just having the right tools for the job. Besides, keyboard and mouse aren't the best for every type of game. The only time that they give a real performance enhancement every time is shooters. If you don't like it, you could always learn it yourself. It takes a while to get used to but once you know it you will never want to go back.

2 RepliesNot cheating really. If it was cheating, it would benefit everyone who used it and the clear way to win. It's just a different way to play. If someone usually plays PC sees this and decides to get and Xbox to play some Halo, great! More players to play with.

It's not cheating but it does give an advantage. I don't see why people would want this crap for consoles though, why not play on pc then? Or are most of the people using keyboard and mouse with consoles former pc players that sucked so they came to consoles to try win
