Honestly I don't see a reason why bungie doesn't have a inbox to expose cheaters under privacy. I mean My buddy has a video of 3 people clearly lag switching from yesterday. And we reported.
However we can't use the video or post it anywhere. Because even though it is direct proof. And also gives specific names that you could check to see if they are cheating.
The ones who will be punished are the ones that bring the proof.
If the law ever starts to work like this I'm moving to Mars.

Time to move to Mars then...

I've never heard of the justice system punishing the perso who brings forward evidence unless they were part of the crime. And then they get less harsh sentencing.

It's normal in the USA or in most european countries. Here in germany i.e. it's illegal to monitor the street with your own camera and even if you caught a murder on tape that can identify the murderer, the video cannot be used as evidence and the murderer can sue you for recording him at a social place.

That is..the stupidest thing I've bee heard.

Jep. It's the same as breaking in a suspects house and obtain any evidence for a certain crime...it's illegal and therefore the evidence is completely useless. Welcome to the modern lawsystem.
