Is destiny the first mmo fps rpg?

It's just an FPS with coop, just because it has some similarities to an mmo doesn't make it an mmo. It's definitely not an RPG and doesn't really have any similarities with them.

It's not an MMO exactly. Bungie calls it a shared world thing. But in a few years it will definitely be a MMO/RPG/FPS.

The only thing Destiny out of that is an FPS. It's certainly not an MMO or and RPG.

Destiny is one of a kind in my opinion. It's got a little bit of everything that I like! I find it hard to play anything else anymore because to me destiny is so perfect that I compare everything else to it and nothing else keeps me gripped as destiny has since midnight launch

1 ReplyLol no, check out endless ages.. Came out early 2003 if I recall correctly, mmorpgfps, wondering if anyone even remembers, it never got big due to lack of financing, but was still an epic game.

1 ReplyNo the first mmo rpg fps was called Taco Bell rings and it's really good. You deliver Taco Bell to people while the police try to arrest you because you are high af and there is a warrant out for your arrest because your a drug dealer on the side. There's one mission where you have to go through a cave and there is these police that stand around and there names are all Gordon. When they see you they scream for a few seconds then you die and restart from your last check point. But once you get past that you get to the part where you go to the police station and there is a bunch of guards and you have to deliver the taco salad to the debubity. [spoiler]you sneak past the guards or just convince them your not a bad guy.[/spoiler] Once you finish that you get a cut scene of a random guy giving you a cool looking new carrying bad with glowing pulsing blue straps. It's a pretty good game. But ehh idk where to get it yet.

It's not a mmo fps rpg at all. It's a fps with rpg elements and the mmo part is wildly debated (how many players constitute a mmo?) But no its not the first even if you classify it as such

3 RepliesUntil there are larger fireteams on patrol, raids and in the tower this game isn't an mmo. Also there's no social tower chat so yeah...not even close to an mmo it's just a multiplayer fps rpg nothing massive about it.
