Are open world (patrol) chests too boring in destiny?
I ended up making a video talking about if chests seem to be too boring in destiny patrol. We seem to never get anything good in these open world chests, so why even loot them? Materials? You can just buy them now!
Give us a chance for some good legendary gear! Maybe even an Exotic! Even if that exotic chance is 1% at least there is a percentage!

i used to love running patrols and farming chests and materials,i know its not for most people but it was fun for me..i always liked the idea of that very slim chance of an engram or a ship...now I have more material than I could ever use in a lifetime,and I just dismantle the ships...that was one of the things that kept me playing borderlands for so long...they need to do something with chests,now if I find one I never go out of my way to open it

2 RepliesThey are boring, I don't think you can get anything good, maybe a legendary engram but you might have a better shot at winning a who is the greatest man alive contest while competing against Kanye West. They should put weapon parts as random drops that when you find enough a certain class of weapon you can start a bounty to build it, have parts for each class and so on. Might be a fun activity for new exotics.

I thing due to the removal of the need to grind materials in patrol, not many people run on the planets anymore. It seems that the Dreadnaught may change that, however.
