I ran strikes yesterday to glimmer/legendary farm and some level 34 D-bag sat back letting me and my partner go through the whole strike. At first, we thought he was just inactive, but then we noticed he would move up every so often so that he would not be kicked for inactivity. The guy was obviously capable of playing, as he was decked out in Trials armor and had all the OP strike weapons, but all he did was sit back. Me and my partner actually refused to finish the strike until he either left on his own or he was kicked for inactivity. But that took at least 10 minutes...
What I'm getting at is that every strike playlist needs a vote to kick option so that people like this may be removed from the game without causing the rest of the team to have to stop and wait till the game kicks him or until he leaves on his own. I know you can report them as inactive/unhelpful but this does not prevent them from being put into other people's games. There should be a vote to kick option in strike playlist where if both people report a player as inactive/unhelpful, he is kicked from the game.
This is not intended to make the case against matchmaking, as I generally support matchmaking in all phases. But I'm really starting to get pissed at all the lazy a-holes that expect you to carry them.

Would be abused by d-bags kicking people for sheets and geegles.

2 RepliesBut that is the kind of matchmaking the community wants for everything.

That's why you should be able to majority vote out people that aren't pulling their weight. Not inexperienced people but ones who insist on not playing cooperatively
