Before we get started just take in consideration this isn't the account I play on since I play on the ps4.
I know those words have never been said but it's true. I stopped playing destiny because of how bored I was with it so I started playing advanced warfare. The game plays out so fast and gun fights in AW make gun fights in destiny look like a joke. Ever since I had to learn how to lock on to an enemy while he jumps all over the place. Something I also started doing on accident was jumping non stop in crucible since that's all you do in advanced warfare. Just wanted to share my story and see if anyone has experience the same thing.

1 ReplyCoD's gun fights are a joke. The ttk for almost every weapon is less than the last word. There literally is no gunfighting it's just who sees who first and on most guns headshots don't matter at all.

Gunfights? Lol you mean flashlight tag

2 RepliesEdited by Keemstar: 8/2/2015 5:03:54 PMWould play AW if it wasn't Pay To Win..

1 ReplyAfter cod the pvp on destiny feels like you are playing in slow motion.
-
1 ReplyWow, I thought people hated CoD.

1 ReplyAdvanced Warfare is cake compared to Destiny. I decided to take a break two days ago and play AW and I was top of match every game after adjusting to the sensitivity.
-
3 RepliesPretty much every fight in Gears makes any fight in CoD look like two babies playing with their babas.

Edited by Shadow: 8/2/2015 5:32:10 PMSame here, i always play all games on max sensitivity. AW sort of trained me to react to sudden movement very quickly i get all my kills off of pure impulse. Whenever i actually try to kill someone is when i usually mess up because its not the way my brain is wired.

51 RepliesCod takes more skill than destiny

3 RepliesIt's the other way around for me. I am better at COD because of Destiny.
-
I came to destiny since CoD and Halo
-
6 RepliesHardline helped my sniping reflexes if that makes sense. I can now 90% of the time scope in and headshot someone in a swift motion if they get too close.
-
I came to destiny as a cod person pretty fun
-
1 ReplyA good CoD player is a good FPS player
-
3 RepliesI agree with you man, AW has improved my accuracy, but I like the way gunfights work in Destiny a little better in my opinion. It's not just a game of who shoots first, like it doesn't matter in COD of you shoot a guy if they got the first bullets in, your bullets don't register and just disappear :/

CoD is fast paced because the gunfights last 0.5 seconds, you die very very quickly. If you rush too much in Destiny, you'll find that occasionally a good player will turn around and kill you first. It's very forgiving. Also in CoD there's a delay between two players even on a LAN party, so it's actually in the coding of the game. Try it on split screen, one player stand up, it'll show on the first screen immediately, but 0.1-0.2 seconds later on the second screen. Now in an online game where 0.5 seconds or less are needed to kill and 0.2 time delay is game breaking. Ergo the way to win in CoD is to rush around the corner before your enemy rushes around it, giving the rusher a timed advantage.

2 RepliesI had the opposite effect. I played AW after playing Destiny for months, and I did okay for having never played Cod before. The speed did help me with Destiny since that game is actually pretty slow paced.

3 RepliesTitanfall did this for me. Also gave me a nervous tic from playing with my turtlebeach headsets that when I hit a bump in the road I think someone is crawling on my car to destroy it. And now I watch rooftops all the time.
