How do you counter a Blinking, Shotgunning Hunter.. Overpowered? PVP
I'm not going to bother with talking about the unbalanced nature of the classes, which everyone agrees they are. But If you're playing Rumble, and 4/6 people are just blinking around with a shotgun, how does one even counter it? Seems almost impossible. Also Hunters get almost an automatic 2 or 3 kills every time they use their super in PVP.. how is this fair compared to the other classes?

U blink back or sprint forward. Simple

Jumps, distance from door ways. Use cover. Be ready to make adjustments. Gun power and skill _uber

Move toward their position from where they blinked.

If you say that about the hunter super then you would be saying that the new subclasses for Titan and warlock are overpowered too. Those are easy to get 2-3 kills with and are very similar to blade dancer.

Move towards where they were after they blink. I shit you not they get so flustered and confused. Makes them easy pickings.

Run forward, don't backpedal. Turn and fire while they try and figure out where you went.

You just do a 180* turn and blast them where they land. They almost always expect an enemy to back up. At least that's how I do it.

I have been playing rumble a lot lately and I never use shotscrubs and I win quite a bit.

2 RepliesNova bomb = 2-4 auto kills... Titan smash = 2-4 auto kills... Blade dancer = 2-4 auto kills... I mean, all the supers, if used right, are deadly. Your point is invalid.

I always get 2-5 kills with my nova bomb :/

I usually just jump straight in the air on top of them and float for a second. Titan for life.

Dont run backwards run fowards. If you do this as you turn around you might be able to catch when he lands and kill him

Hmmm warlocks have blink as well also have you tried just running away? Lol.

Look up or follow the trail of blue streak when they blink and shoot them in the air people are less accurate at the air unless they are close up with a shotgun so backup and shoot at them just backup while shooting or strafe around or go under them

4 RepliesA fix for blink is being worked on. It was mentioned in a bungie weekly update. Until then you have to kite. Get him to over commit and waste both blinks. He falls way short and you blast his ass. Then, dance in his ghost for good measure.
