What gen spartans are in halo wars also what armor are they wearing?
I read the books and my mate would call me an idiot for not knowing this but what generation are the spartans in halo wars, spartan III ? that would mean they would be wearing mark V in that time period but there is allot of difference between mark V and what they're wearing.
and yeh I changed my perms to look like one of red team.

The Spartans in Halo Wars wear a augmented version of the Mark V Helmet, so I'm guessing their from the Spartan II Project. They also have a bulky plate of armor covering their right shoulder. [Edited on 03.15.2009 5:33 AM PDT]

not quite, if you read the books they were active and briefed on the harvest attack. and obviously small team would have been sent to help the outer colonies repel the covenant on the ground.

yes, however, mark IV didnt have shields... probably a mark V prototype. amd yes theyre SII's they should make a game with SIII's in it, spartan IIIs were so awesome

Definately Spartan II's. I would imagine they are wearing Mk IV armour. You can view the Halopedia article on it [url=http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Mjolnir]here.[/url] I don't trust it as a source, but you never know.

They are probably Spartan II and they are wearing MJOLNIR Mk. IV armor
