Edited by knocknock: 11/10/2015 2:07:19 AMAnyone remember the game where you start out in a prison cell, you're a regular man at first, but zombies(or something akin) attack, you get out of your cell, and you end up being a berserker.? This is a game from years ago, I've tried looking it up and I've had no success. It might have been on ps1, possibly ps2. That game had me terrified. I had to play at noon, lights on, door shut and locked. Please tell me someone remembers the name. Edit: The Suffering Whole damn game had me terrified.

You have to play this game called outlast. You don't have any weapons, and you're in this crazy mental facility armed with just a camera. If you're not looking through the camera, around 75-80% of your surroundings are completely dark. Looking through the camera, you can only see with night vision, which requires batteries that you have to find. You literally have to balance between seeing and running through the game in the total dark. The sounds in game are horribly gut wrenching and you mostly run and hide from people (when I say ppl, I mean mad scientists/mental patients) The whole game is a noooopppppeee

When I first got Black ops (the original), My one enemy was the Zombies. I love Zombies now, but back then... Here are the reasons: -The concept of Zombies was disturbing to me at the time. ( I mean, an ustoppable force of twisted corpses trying to eat you?) -The sounds they make are just so... inhuman. -The fact there was no winning; that the only way to end the game was to succumb to these creatures' claws was unpleasant to me.

Edited by Jcaf8: 11/10/2015 12:41:38 PMThat's a toughie. In destiny I was being chased in skirmish awhile back by 3 guys who all popped mobile supers at the same time, so I killed myself. There were definitely others in older games but I can't remember Oh pretty much everything in The last of us

Clive Barkers Jericho... I first played that game when I was like 11 or 12. When I bought the game from GameStop and the dude told me "Get ready for a shitstorm of scares" I should have trusted him...

Edited by Clickmonster: 11/10/2015 6:25:19 AMAmalgamates Mainly because say for the very end of the game, Undertale is a pretty charming and joking sorta game, and then you see this shit For the same reason I find creepy things far more unsettling in non-horror games just to the massive change of pace that's usually required to have it occur.
Also those mother-blam!-ing Kackle things that chase you around that haunted level in Donkey Kong Country 2

And hearing those splicers sing the Jesus song in Bioshock was pretty spooky
