What's a VoG?

So pre-HOW I saw a bunch of posts about ascending VOG gear and how that is what they will do first. Yet I have only seen 2 fully leveled sets vault of glass gear ever. My set is 3/4 done (just NEEd 1 more etheric light from iron banner). I'm not much of the POE/TOO player, so I'm etheric light poor. Edit: damn, 350+ comments?! I didn't realize that this post would be past 100 comments.
