Will trying to match with friends get you banned?

Hoping for a Bungie employee answer here. I have read the policy page before also. My clan was playing Iron Banner with a full party of 8 so we had to split into two groups. Someone had the idea to try and start matchmaking at the same time to see if we could get on opposing teams. It worked. It was awesome. It was some of the most fun we have had in crucible ever. Seriously it was alot of fun and gave us a chance to get some clan frustration out for all those oversouls. My question is, because someone brought it up, is this considered network manipulation that could result in a ban? My guess is no, since Bungie encourages the same thing when trying to match with the Bungie bounty team. However you could do this and boost by one team letting the other win, etc so it may be frowned upon? I can assure you this didn't happen since we were having too much fun blasting each others face off with shotguns, but I would like to hear a bungie answer if possible? Thanks

 •
My clan was playing Iron Banner with a full party of 8
I hope you play fairly. Many will consider this an unfair advantage because you might not be aggressive to a clan mate who is playing on the opposing team. If I saw this without knowing what was going on, I would report it. 8 clan members. 2 get shipped to the other team. What do you think the team of 4 was thinking?
