It's sad that I have to take precaution in the video game industry these days.
There was a time where I could believe the trailers, where consumer feedback was appreciated and I wasn't viewed as a piggybank waiting to be smashed open.
These days you are required to scour about for reputable online reviewers just to make sure you're not being lied to.
Even the review sites cannot be trusted, shady behind the scenes bribery cause the shit to be muddled in with the good.

Yeah, the whole thing with the Shadow of Mordor where they were forcing reviewers to sign a contract that basically made it impossible for them to say anything BAD about the game... Its a perfect example of how there are really so few HONEST reviewers out there. One of the reasons I'm a huge fan of Angry Joe.
