Playing iron banner yesterday I came across a team of 6 with four Titans and two hunters. The Titans camped at their spawn until they got a bubble, then they popped these bubbles continuously all match. The hunters then jumped about with golden gun all game. It was the saddest thing I've came across in this game, as they were terrible players but relied on supers to win a match. I think this is an exploit. Does anyone back this
If you use this technique then you have 0 gun skill and are a poor player
Also so many bad players telling me to get good. Please remove yourself

1 ReplyHey they little fat guys need to have fun too just give them there bubbles
-
13 RepliesHow dare they use tactics and team organization to play the crucible.
-
Three titans used this against us in Trials. They would pop one bubble after another on the control point. They also used one of each helmet (saint-14, glasshouse, and some other one) and one of the three perks so it became this game of guessing which perk they had and if you could rush the bubble or not. Being three hunters, there wasn't really anything we could do for the first couple of rounds. But then we got golden guns with combustion, and we ended up winning the match.

This is the future of Destiny pvp until titans get that Hammer..........
-
5 RepliesStop shooting the bubbles and they won't be able to spam Supers anymore. Wait out the bubbles, play a little chicken with them.
-
Ran into this as well but we still beat them with 6 randoms. Shrug

My friends and I encountered this method once during a match. We had a full fireteam, so communication won us the match. But what was unique about this team using this tactic, they were all Titans... 4 of them were Defenders, 2 of them were Strikers. My two Striker Titan friends destroyed all 6 of them 2 times each. It was sad to watch this team using a method they probably saw on YouTube but couldn't actually do it right.

3 RepliesBladedancer/Strikers/Voidwalkers can take this strategy down. I main a bladedancer and i say that bubble strategy is fine, it requires a bit of teamwork too.
-
Not an exploit just a cheap tactic, but iron banner gets stressful when your not winning, so i can understand
-
Awwwww did somebody outsmart a whittle thorn hunter out awwwww
-
Fair game. Let them gather in the safety of their bubbles. makes killing them all so much easier.
-
1 ReplyIt's annoying, but it's also the only thing the ward of dawn is good for in pvp.
-
1 ReplyI wouldn't say it's fair or an exploit, but it is something that's needs a bit of nerfing.
-
As long as killstreaks, supers, heavy weapons, and low time to kill/shot to kill weapons and abilities exist, yes all NOOBS and no skill players will use these in any way they can to compensate their lack of skill. Whats even sadder is when 2-4 titans pop up the bubbles in the same exact spot to ensure team invulnerability.
-
1 ReplyPlease, it's the worst subclass let them do something....
-
They can pop bubbles all they like, if you stay away they can't get any points once your special is good to go drop it on them
-
2 RepliesBungie had already fixed this issue way back during the first DLC
-
It's one of the most rewarding strategies in destiny. It's hard to pull off especially if you're playing against striker titans with some skill. It sucks to play against but it's not unbeatable

5 RepliesEdited by OG_Ronzilla: 7/31/2015 9:36:38 PM1 Celestial Nighthawk shot with the proper perks will surely ruin their strategy, no? Spamming showstopper with the Arcblade after landing in their bubble fortress? 1 Nova Bomb with vortex? 1 Fist of Havoc with aftermath? Or are you just the idiot who keeps charging at the bubbles with no super?
-
I personally feel it's a clever tactic utilizing teamwork and communication. There are plenty of ways to counter it, with the best being the razor's edge arc blade ability, because it simultaneously goes through all shields, destroying them in 2 attacks and killing those inside of the shields. You can also quickly run in with a warlock and toss a vortex grenade in the shield or use your nova bomb with vortex
-
Its all tactics
-
Funny I saw a post before where is said Titans void subclass are the hardest super to use
-
2 RepliesA lot of people say its fair game. So how do you counter it? They have infinite supers so what are you supposed to do? I think it is an exploit and orbs shouldnt be in pvp anyway.
-
Need to take orbs out of Pvp And no super for assists or captures. It's bad enough you get a super for doing nothing. It should be for kills only.
-
It's annoying but not really an exploit. Personally I think orbs should just be taken out of Crucible. But anyway teams that do this typically are bad so as long as you use your supers smart they are pretty easy to shut down. Nova bomb with vortex, FoH, and Arc blade with Razors edge work really well for shutting them down. Golden gun really isn't good because at most it can take down 1 bubble and it will just be replaced easily.

Edited by Like 200 Arabs: 7/31/2015 9:49:20 PMA group tried this earlier but I guess my team of randoms were too good since they only pulled it off once and it was never seen again. Edit: ransoms -> randoms
