The Dads of Destiny clan has never recieved so much crap when Bungie has featured them. Fact.
That's prolly why people feel the need to comment. It's amazing how many hate posts went up when the bounty was announced. They recieved equal hate when they were featured. I personally did not see one hateful message when DoD was featured.

Wow. Grow up. Do you not get enough attention at home. Let me engage you then. The Dames are an all female clan. Period. The Dads of Destiny are an all male clan. BOTH chose and select who they allow in their clan. It's not to be elitist, they just pick and choose based on who fits into their mold of character. Only one has recieved verbal abuse view forums, twitch, twitter, you name it. Based on the comments made its because one is a group of females. Every clan has a right to its own exclusivity. None deserve to be harassed.

Whoa. No one said anything about race. Neither clan discriminates based on race. I never said that. In the same respect of your last question what male asks to join "Dames" of Destiny. If you look on their website they have a sub clan called safe games for males and females. Dames is just specifically for women who want to join a clan and play with other females knowing they won't be subject to some of the sexist comments women encounter when playing any online game. This can be supported by most of the negative comments from that one bounty stream.

not a lot of ppl know about the sub clan and u don't think that there are similarities between race and gender? I just said Latino to give an example sorry dad's of destiny don't exclude ppl and don't have get togethers to celebrate being a dad and block everyone out that they don't like

From my understanding they're a group of females who offer other women a comforting group to play with. They don't exclusively play with just their clan. They broadcast with their subclan safe gamers. When they do compititions it's against either safe gamers or dad's of destiny or other popular clans. Membership into the Dames is based on one thing, yes, being a female, however they do not exclude playing with anyone else who is not female. Idk maybe you've played with them and know more about them than me. My personal opinion is that they didn't deserve -blam!- threats and other harassment yesterday. Also by definition Sexism and racism are indeed 2 very different things. You can be racist but not sexist and vice versa. The only similarity is that people in general are discriminated against for either or sometimes even both.

I am under the understanding that both clans have males and females. Dads of Destiny did get some flack when one of their sub clans nominated a woman to run it and the DoD main group had a problem with it. As for clans invite who you want why should it matter. I would not join a all female clan because I have wife and daughters and quite frankly get more info on subjects than I really want. On the other hand to me DoD is too large and gives me an elitest vibe. I do not speak any other language so I wouldn't be interested in Latin or other clans that don't speak English exclusively. So why judge and allow whomever to roll with who they want and how they want and enjoy the game. If a clan as whole diplays negative feedback, etc. disband the clan.
