Do people not use MG's? Do people not do Bounties?
I just don't understand it's taking me a hella long time to get this Machine Gun Spree Bounty over with because I guess people as a whole just decided to not use Machine Guns? I go into Iron Banner & everyone is using a Launcher. Do you people not do Bounties? Like what's the point of Iron Banner then?
UPDATE: I give up, bounty has been abandoned, it's just not possible to stay alive long enough to get kills when literally everyone else but me is using a rocket launcher. It just boggles my mind because if literally everyone but me is using a rocket launcher then that means they're not doing bounties & if so then what tf is the point of playing?...
EDIT: IB needs a complete overhaul, if Bungie really thinks IB is in good standings then they forgot how to make a game cause the current state of IB is just -blam!-ing awful.

Hide till all the rockets are gone. Then you can get a 10+ kill streak easy with a machine gun

It's a hard bounty but it is not impossible. You have to play defensively and wait for all the rockets to stop flying before going out. Avoid open high traffic areas and doorways. Pick off stragglers and guardians at choke points. Above all else, don't play over aggressively and greedy.

Dude just stay on your side of the map and just kill the rushers until about a minute and half since heavy. Also if you're team gets both heavies then you have a good time in front of you. Make sure you stay away from thorn/last word groups

I feel your pain, but can beat it. I lost something like 8 games in a row. Sitting pretty with 5 medallions ready to cash in as soon as I can get on a winning side. After 5 mins of waiting to get a game going, the opposite team (foretell of 6) leaves as soon as we enter. Meaning we get the win but no reputation gains or anything. I go all that time without a win thinking how good it'll be when I eventually get one cause the 5 medals worth of xp and this crap happens. Give me a break!

With BTRD I've been able to get streaks, sometimes insanely long streaks, in IB. It somehow seems easier than in Crucible. I'm not bragging by any means, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying it's very doable if you're patient. Once the rockets are gone, you'll be able to outgun EVERYBODY with ease.

One of the easiest bounty's? Just hold back for like 20 seconds while they blow themselves up

I don't understand why they do that. With a machine gun you can get a lot more kills with the ammo then with a rocket launcher.

I don't do it because unless it's your own team, it's hard to coordinate with everyone on when to open the case

You need to be patient and play the waiting game. Let all the RL users blow each other up, stick close to teammates, and provide support fire.

3 RepliesJust do minimum 3 Bounties per day: the 10000 EXP one, the 10-kills without dying one and probably 10 melee kills and/or 10 captures. The rest is absolutely useless and too time consuming. You'll get your Rank 5 easily.

4 RepliesEdited by TheVikingWolfe: 7/31/2015 2:22:00 AMDude you can finish that bounty in one match. Just wait for the rockets scrubs to all kill each other and then proceed to clean up. Just remember, you have to rapidly kill three people and you can't reload or change weaponsin between kills.
