Vanilla and the dark below gear.
So apparently if I do a tiger strike I have a chance to get a shadow price, final boss and other great weapons. I could also get some good guns doing roc strikes by getting the dark below gear. So it is still possible. Did you guys know?

The only way to truly know if there's a chance is to read the description on the engram each version of the game has had a different one each time. I know this is true because a friend got a vintage pair of boots. I've also seen the different descriptions on engrams.

8 RepliesWe all know the shadow price is spectacular. It's a lovely vanilla weapon that I used for a long time. But honestly aside from the nostalgia of it there is no reason to prefer that gun. Just grab a similar one like the Summoner. It will even have an element of you get it from the trials box

1 ReplyNo, you can't get vanilla weapons from tiger strikes. The only vanilla engrams that drop in vanguard tiger are the ones from the rewards screen, and they're always armor engrams. Vanilla weapon engrams cannot drop at the rewards screen from vanguard tiger. The engrams that drop from enemies are post vanilla, so they can't net you a vanilla weapon.

Not worth it, no proof it's possible, and if it is the odds of winning the lottery are probably better. Just pick up a comparable auto to shadow price like the pest control matrix and reforge it till it's perfect.

There's a very small chance that you'll end up with a weapon that's worth using and an even smaller chance that said weapon will have a good roll if you are lucky enough to get it.

I would do roc because LDR and longbow were best snipers ever and dark below guns are great, i have dine these and gotten gear (only old warlock boots but it was dlc 1)
