It's you. People with bad connections are matched with other people with bad connections
English
-
That's a false statement if I ever heard one
-
Apparently no one agrees with you. Its lag switchers. They've already addressed it in tweets and are discussing it in the daily update. All it takes is one person in a match and it effects everyone.
-
It's not all lag switchers. 2 or 3 days ago I went 7k in a match barely trying. I happened to have "bad connection" (a red bar), yet all of my shots were landing and they weren't able to hit me. That's not to say that there aren't lag switchers, because there definitely are. Player hosted games have always had these vulnerabilities, but nowadays a lot more people know how to exploit them

Yes... right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and how does Bungie measure if you have a good or bad connection ????????? By pinging you from HOUSTON USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And guess what ... ONLY USA noobs have good ping then... the rest of the world gets F*CKED!! I have ping 100 ms to houston normal router... then to the MS router in houston its 160 MS And within Europe (im NL) all routers are bout 30 MS ... extremly GOOD ! But Im judged as bad connection coz MS and BUNGIE are cheap MOFOS that want host advantage for YANKS and only place a server in USA ... gosh ... You obviously have no knowledge and are just screaming... dumb ignorant yank ... sorry for the pleonasme... So only if you are a yank you can have a good connection due to placement of servers ... LOL And USA have some of the worst connections in the world... in EUROPE broadband usage is MUCH higher ! Yet we never get host... why .. .coz USA has the game servers ... Pffffffffffff so tired of explaining you NOOBS how this works... Go hide in your cave of shame and STFU !

The game does not set up players based on connection who ever told you that is stupid.
-
It's what I heard, and what I observed. Whenever I look people have a bout the same connection to game.
-
You ever noticed how your in a fire team of three and someone's connection sucks so it brings everyone's down yeah same thing.

-
Speed doesnt matter... its about LATENCY ... and if you are in EUROPE you can have 100/100 MB connection and still get lag... coz the game server is in USA ... ping HOUSTON if your on xbox ... then you understand ;-) Then ping random routers in EU ... then you understand ;-) Download / Upload speed higher then 1 MB/s is unnescesairy.... gaming doenst use MUCH data... it needs to go FAST... so its all about LATENCY !
-
I'm in North America, no issues with latency anywhere else
-
Strange... If your on xbox ... try pinging a Houston router ... since xbox one server is in houston (if you ping test on xbox one) To me that explained a lot... 160 MS... on xbox one... while 100 ms on pc to houston (of course other IP which could be difference)

I: 1. Doubt it 2. Don't know 3. Don't care

Why comment than?
