Flawless emblem bad in IB
I really don't get how some of these dudes have flawless emblems and I don't. maybe they got carried? maybe they're a lot better elimination? not sure but I've seen multiple people (and multiple games but the same people in some cases) where they can barely top 2000 score in IB. it's kind of kick in the nuts, because so far I've had a dismal experience with trials but I can pull my weight most of the time in IB better than people with the trials emblem.

These scrubs are all over the place too, w their 5 kills and .33 kd's per IB match. Running adept messengers and get waxed. Lmao. And you guys who got massively carried know who you are. Just stop. You got gifted the weapons and EL. Don't rock the emblem. It's so obvious you got gifted the emblem.

I am not too great at IB as it is control, which I suck dick at. However, I am quite good at playlists such as skirmish, doubles, eliminations, and trials all because they are three v three or two v two, and I just am so much better at those playlists! So don't blame people for sucking in IB even if they have a flawless emblem! They may never even play control like myself because it doesn't interest them!

I sometimes do bad on ib but I have flawless emblems on all 3 characters but I never was carried I have a 1.6 kd so it's just sometimes u have a bad game

1 - I don't know why people would wear the ToO emblem considering you get more rep for the IB one. 2 - People play different in all game modes. I HATE control, hate that shit with a passion. Any time I play it, I have average to shitty games. Yet when you put me in Rumble or Skirmish, my gameplay is much better. Just because some sucks at control, doesn't mean they don't kick ass at other game modes. 3 - People get carried in ToO all the time. All you need is 2 good players and a little bit of luck in matchmaking to get to the Lighthouse.

Control is an entirely different best from trials. In Trials the mechanism for gaining an advantage is fundamentally different. You have three opponents to consider, instead of six, and you have free range of the map, you do not have to worry about 3 particular locations. You also have 5 teammates, instead of 2. I am crap in trials, and my regular teammates aren't much better, but we excell in iron banner. I'm sure many trials regulars face the same shift of focus issues in iron banner.

IB it doesn't matter, you just play enough to get your rewards. You can play loose in IB, it's not as if the rewards are performance based. By the last day, the buff is enormous, you barely have to win much to reach rank 5.

Unfortunately I don't get much chance to play over the weekend and if I do it's never with a mic. Streamers do it for donations, some people have friends do it. However tactics that work in trials, such as sitting back and final rounding, don't work AT ALL in control or any other game type. Also if you are using the Flawless emblem in Iron banner, it means you are probably using it just to show off, as players should be using the iron banner emblem in Iron banner for the extra rep, and rely on their skills to show off. However, you should not dilute the achievement and difficulty of getting that emblem. Most players who can still go consistently flawless in trials, especially in the last month, are absolute monsters and my hat goes off to them. Most of those players will be using the iron banner emblem in Iron banner though, and will let the score board speak for itself.

Same here man. I see a bunch of emblems at the bottom of the scoreboard that have gone way negative in control and wonder how the hell they were able to go flawless in trials.

1 ReplyYou don't have to be that good to go flawless man. My k/d is 1.11 in trials. If you take 3 people with my kd to trials you have a decent chance of going flawless if a couple breaks go your way and you keep your communication up.

1 ReplyTeamwork is the answer. Teamwork is significantly more important in Trials than your individual skill level (not that skill isn't important too). Plus a lot of people get carried Trials, get lucky with the teams they end up against, or just cheat (lag switch). So honestly, the flawless emblem doesn't mean shit anymore. It has absolutely no indication of skill.

For me it is tough going from Trials to Iron Banner. For some reason my brain needs 3 matches to get back into the swing of things.

Ran into 3 guys with 2600 or below grim and they all had flawless, they all sucked too.

Between all the supers, getting map control, etc. Control is pretty random. Elimination and skirmish are more straight forward, granted a good player should do good in all of it. Probably a combination of that and them getting carried,bc I look up people's stats that have flawless some times when I play them in trials and 90% have under 1.0 k.d with like 10% W/L.
