Hezen Vengeance Question
I see a lot of people using this. I scrapped mine before running pvp consistently, but I'm just wondering, does that last perk also have prox det included with it? I never understood why people are using it but if it automatically has prox det in its special perk, it would make sense. thanks
Edit: Lots of mixed feeling about this launcher. seems good, but not optimal for PvP if I understand correctly

Edited by Nkarii: 7/29/2015 4:17:42 PMIt's not bad in PVP per se, but it will be out classed by other launchers that have tracking and / or grenades and horseshoes. For PVE it's a beast though. It's arguably the best legendary launcher. It has tripod coupled with very good velocity and a huge blast radius. Also it has the MIRV Mini perk on it.

I used it last night in IB didn't seem as effective as RF but PvE its a beast imo.

3 Repliesit's got a large blast radius and the tracking on non-exotic launchers is really hit-or-miss (ha) imo. i'd rather a strong, solid launcher that goes where i point it and is capable of clearing an area than something that's gonna track itself into a rock or a tree.

i use hezen for taking down swordbearer in crota when running sword (no gally :( ) and does more damage than a hunger just no tracking

It does more damage than hunger of crota. People always try to say hunger is better because it has tracking, but if you don't have to crutch on tracking, Hezen is way better

If you can hit a target without using tracking, it's great. The best legendary in the game.

4 RepliesIt does not. FYI the difference between it and cluster bombs is the amount of explosions and the pattern. MIRV rounds are in a circular pattern with less explosions but the explosions are stronger. Cluster bombs explode in a random number with more but less damage per explosion.

Its,a strong launcher, good if you can got a downward line of sight on them. Rusted lands, Exodus Blue, and Asylum are examples of where it can clean a pount easy.
