Sniping seems way to easy especially when getting a headshot. I know destiny is different but 95% of FPSs snipers sway while ADS. You should at least have to hold your breathe to keep the scope steady because instant headshots kills are to easy to achieve while sniping. Just my opinion what do you guys think?

2 RepliesNo, because I am not some measly human. I am the chosen undead. I do not breathe. I have no heartbeat. My arms do not get tired. My hands do not shake. I am unwavering.
-
No. If I'm trained to hold a gun, shoot a gun, master three subclasses and be put up against a god and atheon I would at least be able to control the sway of a gun right?
-
But in most other games with weapon sway they dont require a headshot to kill
-
2 RepliesDoesn't matter. However, there is a certain weapon called NLB that shouldn't have a lense flair. Just like P&T shouldn't while cloaked.
-
If it wasn't for the fact that this game is already 99% against mid and long range I would say yes, but since they already OP all close range combat I would say that it would be shitty if they did.
-
Destiny is the 5%

-
2 RepliesYeah it's easier for sure. The whole reason the breathing was introduced was to give snipers a sort of time limit so they can't camp in one spot ads and wait for people to run into their scope. I wouldn't mind destiny implementing this, but to bed air there aren't a lot of sniper friendly maps
-
there are so many things that need addressing before this sadly but something that stops people from using praydeth like a damn scout would be nice.
-
4 RepliesI always pictured our armor having some sort of mechanical servos in them to help some with recoil and whatnot, so if this is the case there shouldn't be any swaying. If you want swaying play Metal Gear Solid where you take diazepam to prevent swaying.

Really?! We came back from the dead with super powers and THATS what your mad about?! Being a good sniper?!
-
18 RepliesIs this why you have 238 sniper kills .06% of your total kills, 67% accuracy and 11,707 shotgun kills 32% of your total kills and 4,372 melee kills 12% of your total kills? Sniping is just so easy you challenge yourself by only getting shotgun and melee kills.

Halo had no sway

I would think that hundreds of years of military fine tuning would give us gear that eliminates things that causes us to miss. Future bro

It's definitely easier to snipe in Destiny because of aim assist and perks like Hidden Hand, but then again it's easier to shoot with any gun in the game because of aim assist. The only time aim assist works against you is when someone else crosses over your target. Your gun tends to follow whichever target is closer to you.
-
I kind of like the sniping it fun I'm not the best at it I've been practicing but I use mostly shotguns, so I'm fine with no sway
-
Space magic. End of story

Maps are to cqc
-
I hate sway. So I don't think so
-
Try using nlb and swipe sniping. Better yet try using nlb at all.

15 RepliesSince when did snipers become a problem in destiny? (Besides final round abusers). Your saying you want to see more shotguns?
-
1 ReplyNo wth you thinking
-
1 ReplySure, but only if the maps are huge enough so that at range anything other than a sniper doesn't hit you. ARs, hand cannons, pulse, MG etc - all rendered useless at range of a sniper. Maybe scouts land a very intermittent shot. This would be making things fair and similar to other games where sniper scopes sway. You can ask for bullet drop too. I love that shit. And then forums would be mad over guys taking 500 m + headshots while there is no other way to beat them other than countersnipe.

1 ReplyIt's bungie so they made sniping like halo minus the fact that they added a new sniper called the shotgun
