You have to grind Vanguard Tiger strikes for blue engrams which can give you the old legendary weapons. Im pretty sure it can't be obtained in any other way.

I'm wondering how many times I have to do that. I feel like I'm playing tiger and roc strikes everyday and I'll get a rare weapon but no weapon engrams. What's the chance of weapon engrams dropping at the end? How many strikes have to be played back to back anyone figure this out? Do I stay in the same lobby the whole time to increased my chances?

Any blue engrams have a chance to drop a vanilla gun I got a light beware the other day from dragon strike engram but it is extremely rare you have like a 2% chance of getting that gun from a blue good luck

It starts at old attack value I was grinding dragon strikes for hopscotch pilgrim the other day out of Bordem and got it turning in a heep of engrams I got lucky as hell sadly it's not a very common thing good luck and keep tryin

Man thanks and I appreciate the info now that I know the old weapons are still obtainable. And keep trying for that hopscotch you'll get it. I got mine from the 28 poe gotta love rng..I'm trying for the right engram to get shadow price. Well looks like I know what I'm doing later dragon strikes for hours lol. Keep that light beware don't dismantle it it's a relic now and should be cherished

Hahaha thanks keep at it hopefully you'll get lucky may rnjeesus bless you but I gotta feelin since this upcoming dlc the new faction gear is reskinned og vanguard gear they might sell a reskinned shadow price at least somthin for you to look forward to even tho the vanilla ones better

Ah yes they do tend to do that. Well again least these guns are still in the game, just buried deep within. Now I have something to play for..I have almost every exotic except the 4th horseman only one I'm missing so my goal is to now acquire many as the old legendaries that I can. I appreciate your info. Hit me up if you wanna play strikes and grind together lol. Are you on xbox or ps4?

Well I actually have one of those too and just so happen to have destiny for it and I still have a lot of old legendaries on there. My characters are only 32 cuz I've been playing on ps4 for a while. I'm pretty invested in this game I've had it for 3 platforms lol. I'm not on there a lot but sometimes I am I go by a different gamer tag tho

Hey I got one more question are you sure that you got a light beware from that dragon strike and you didn't mistake it for the give/take equation? I'm just making sure you can get the old legendaries from these engrams cuz I haven't seen or heard of a single person getting them until I heard it from you today

Yes I understand that but what kind of weapon engrams drop in dragon strikes? Is it just house of wolves ones. Because if that's the case then I'm not interested. I don't like the house of wolves weapons. I'm only interested in launch legendaries (not from the raid). And dark below legendaries. Can anyone confirm if the engrams from dragon strikes can give you the weapons from launch and dark below or is it just house of wolves?
