It's garbage because people go around spewing that it sucks when it doesn't and then that turns into a low adoption rate that results into low app support. If people didn't dislike it based upon what is popular rather than through experience the app store wouldn't be is as bad as it is. It would be nice for people to form their own opinion instead of getting wrapped into fanboy wars and marketing schemes.
