Yea your obviously looking at biased data. A coal miner will always be paid more then a day care worker.

Maybe. Not going to pretend I'm up to date on coal mines salaries, but the data isn't about the salaries of coal miners vs those of day care workers.

Yea I saw those. There's one article that, despite reading the word "Opinion" at the top, goes on to mostly talk about things I wad not referring to and, when in reference to things I was referring to, cited no numerical statistics to dispute, but rather only quoted someone stating that men and women were paid "roughly" the same. As for the two articles by the same author, I was unable to read one before losing it in the sea of comments (though I suspect it was rather repetitive but will edit this post if I locate it), and the other stated there was a 5% difference in pay in favor of men for holding the same positions as women for reasons unknown.
