Also, explain your choice, and be more specific about the reasoning for your choice.
I realize these are very broad, and even so still have overlapping aspects. But hey, 7 is the max.
Food for thought. Some of these issues have large affects on each other. So maybe if education is a big issue to you, consider whats holding it back.
Edit: I'm proud of the flood for not getting into any massive flame wars over this. Overall generally good comments.

29 RepliesEdited by cxkxr: 7/30/2015 3:28:26 AMit's nice to see that people are aware that economics is a big issue. The sad part is, most of them probably advocate more govt intervention into the market as a "solution" when in reality that is the cause of the problem. If your answer to every failure of govt is "more govt", you are like an alcoholic trying to drink yourself sober.

1 ReplyThis is literally one of the hardest questions to answer but since economic is more broad than the others. There quite a bit of things we need to do first by restructuring the tax code to eliminate an income tax and change it to a national 5% sales tax that way it's a progressive tax and will generate constant revenue, reduce the corporate tax from 35 to 15 to be competitive in a global market, raise tariffs to bring jobs back to the United States, reduce overbearing regulation on a whole scale to reduce cost for companies, and Incentivize innovation through the tax code. We need to get rid of the fed and go back to a non central bank where the government issues money instead of a reserve currency that inflates our already worthless dollar, go back to a metal standard but instead have gold and silver to have competing currencies, and outlaw bailouts for banks and other companies. We need to reform welfare in a way that gets people on it and off of it quicker but genuinely helps them transition instead of it being a incentive not to work; we should have free drug testing to prevent those abusing the system to get off of it, we should have skills programs, and financial lectures that they attend as to aid in getting on and off welfare. We need to cut DoD spending and invest in nasa, our infrastructure, and education. As for jobs the government needs reduce the hurdles and regulatory initial costs to starting a business as well as provide a tax incentive for hiring and basing in America.
