Also, explain your choice, and be more specific about the reasoning for your choice.
I realize these are very broad, and even so still have overlapping aspects. But hey, 7 is the max.
Food for thought. Some of these issues have large affects on each other. So maybe if education is a big issue to you, consider whats holding it back.
Edit: I'm proud of the flood for not getting into any massive flame wars over this. Overall generally good comments.

5 RepliesEdited by beowulf 678: 7/29/2015 9:58:46 PMHard to choose one, but the fact that we are becoming a police state I would say is the biggest problem facing our nation. If it gets much worse, the only way (I believe) that it will end is through violence. But the police state is just a small part of greater government overreach. Overregulation, useless laws that protect no one, planned economy, higher taxes. Basically government running our lives.
Not condoning violence against ANYONE. Just looking at the way things are headed.
Edited by Cultmeister: 7/29/2015 4:01:41 PMOnce you take big money out of election campaigns you can stop making government about competing over numbers for money and start making it about actually fixing problems.
-
Cut back on military spending, get the money where it needs to be, get a level headed person in office, and get soldiers out and home
-
I doubt we can really fix any of that until we fix campaign financing. Can't tackle any of that with lobbyists in the way.
