Forerunners vs Guardians
Let's see how strong the fanboy-ism is.
Edit: To all of you saying this isn't fair... I know it isn't a fair fight. This is a copy of a thread posted in #OffTopic. I wanted to see how different the results would be.

Edit 4: To clarify, we're talking about the Guardians from Destiny, not the ones the Forerunners made.

But for those who still believe that Guardian's could win an actual conflict, I have some facts that cannot be countered. Well, I mean, you could try... [b]Fact[/b]: The Forerunners had trillions of ships in their Galaxy-spending fleet, some of which were hundreds of miles long, and all of which leveraged technology that the Destiny universe couldn't dream of. [b]Fact[/b]: The Forerunners could make the Sun go supernova, destroying everything up to the Reef (and possibly Mars). Guardian's have 0 way to counter this. [b]Fact[/b]: Forerunners have constructs that can do strafing runs across ENTIRE CONTINENTS. Destroying one relatively unprotected city would be child's play. [b]Fact[/b]: The Forerunner military, including Forerunner Warrior-Servants, Promethians of all sorts, and all kinds of Sentinels, both vastly outnumber Guardians, but are also better armed, and better trained. [b]Fact[/b]: Halos and Composers. That's fact enough. If someone can prove me wrong on every single point, within the realm of logic, then I will change my vote to Guardians. So try.

Forunners can't even beat something as simple as the flood. And we all know that guardians would just burn the flood and they can beat the vex. So guardians win.

8 RepliesLets put this simply. Guardians draw their power from the Traveler. Forerunners have the technological potential to create a Traveler (or multiple). Guardians wouldn't stand a chance. Also, the Didact could single-handedly use the Composer and turn the entire Last City into Prometheans. Prometheans are like the Vex, but with a backstory.

64 RepliesSo.....based on these comments....Humans, plain Humans, were fighting Forerunners and actually denting them...... Yet, Guardians, with a power greater than a normal human, doesnt stand a chance against forerunners? Im missing the logic here..... And the whole argument of Spartans Vs Guardians and again, Guardians not standing a chance against spartans. But yet in Halo, Spartans could still be killed and somewhat easily.... Halo Reach. Noble Team were all Spartans. They all died. Hell one gets shot simply in the head and dies. And isnt it that MC is the last Spartan? So all other Spartans are dead. Again, Spartans clearly arent as powerful as you Halo fanboys make them out to be. And before anyone says im a Desticle, please understand that im using logic based on what each individual actually is and based on others comments about Halos lore/story to also make a point.

The Traveler made it rain on Mars. The forerunner capital was a synthetic sphere 150,000 mi in diameter. The traveler is maybe 30 mi in diameter.
