That's appalling! Is there any justification for this price hike!?
Normally digital pricing for games in Australia is the American price X 1.25
For example, both House of Wolves and Dark Below are $24.95
Anther perfect example of Australian vs American Pricing
Gears of War Ultimate edition:
$40USD & $50AUD
This is standard FOR ALL AUSSIE PRICES.
So one would expect that The Taken King would come in at $50
But no, Bungievi$ion slaps on an extra $20
So why the sudden change in the price structure? How can this seemingly extra charge make any sense other than blatant price gouging!? Does Bungievi$ion now hate Australia?
Also, if you're about to claim "Activision sets the prices", just stop, because you're wrong. Bungie and Activision discuss and set prices together.
If this isn't addressed, add me to the list of non-purchasers in this debacle of a DLC launch. Could this DLC be anymore bungled?

Not only does it come with a genuine Bungie Defence Force plastic sherif star, you also get these exclusive forum tropes!
What better way to show your refusal to read the thread or inability to understand basic logic with instant classics like:
"It's ergonomics bruh, your exchange rate infatuates"
"Your miminum wage is higher"
And who could forget everyone's favourite: "I'm buying it becuz I'm not poverty and I are employment"

tl:dr
America TDB + HoW = $40. TTK = $40
Australia TDB + HoW = $50. TTK = $70
If you're American, TTK is worth the same as the previous 2 expansions combined. If you're Australian, TTK is worth nearly 3 regular expansions. Economics, bruh!
