This is how you cheat in trials....PS4
Bungie,
I hope you are happy for not acknowledging any of this info. Just a simple menu edit.
All you have to do is go into your playstation network setting and change your MTU setting from a range of 800-1000. This is how people have been lagging in ToO by capturing zones. BTW bungie, Please acknowledge the thorn weapon swap. I hope ToO will be a better game after you patch these two issues. If you have read this please advise from doing this. The game is not fun this way.

Edit: I did a poll..400+ users said expose it. I hope this makes bungie patch it for a better gameplay.

Sounds more like a Sony issue rather than a Bungie issue. Why there is even an option to adjust MTU is beyond me.

So I can go change my mtu right now to that and cheat without getting banned? Sounds like a simple solution bungee would just have to add a mtu limit. I of course don't know what mtu is though so it might be more complicated than that.

Hopefully it becomes an epidemic next week and they are forced to do something to fix it. I dare say this will get ninja justice though.

The cheating, lag & connection is worse than ever and the whole getting kicked in trials then loosen your mercy + adds a lose is frustrating. Kids need to stop posting things on YouTube or other sources in ways to cheat. People get banned for sending inappropriate msgs to others yet people that cheat effect and manipulate the way the game should play, then destroy it for others. Possibly making the servers job more difficult to run as designed. Bungie does some amazing things and I'm sure is one of many leaders in the gaming community. Please lead and not ignore.

Way to go. Exploits like this need addressed. Most of the hate you will get is probably from people who use this trick. Now how can I do this on xbox ? My KD needs a major boost I suck at PvP. Joking of course. Calm down people.

Bumping until trials is so wrecked by cheaters, that bungie will have to actually do something about it... I've heard about this before, but people tried to keep quiet about it. This needs to change!
