Practicing sniping against AI? Beneficial or detrimental?

So I picked up Patience and Time from Xur this weekend and have been screwing around with it as of late. While I'm not Kjhovey's level of ridiculousness I have been doing reasonably well at training myself to rapid sight in and take out the NPC' in the game. That said. I'm wondering how much of this translates to Crucible play. Obviously, there are times where you literally have fractions of a second to respond against intelligent players. I know nothing will beat actual fights in the crucible, but I'm curious if I should continue practicing at popping Fallen heads (most comparable to guardians from what I can tell) or should I just force myself to learn by throwing myself right into the fire.

  • I think it is handy initially but you'll see diminished returns if you do it too much. Tbh I'd play skirmish and rumble as you can get legit decent gunfights in those and it will improve your whole game
