Just because we get it doesn't mean we paid for it. You paid for what was listed on the game/dlc consent list before each launch. If i recall correctly, Bungie even listed the PS exclusives on a separate initial announcement for the DLCs, and always listed that the content was timed exclusive. Meaning when you bought the game and DLC you knew what you were getting. No matter how you look at it, this is how it is. Both console companies pay off devs and publishers for exclusive content and games. You can accept the wait, buy games based on console exclusivity, or refuse to buy the games and not support the practice. Bungie has a contract with Activision and has to abide by it. That means Activision can make such deals, and Bungie has to make content accordingly.

  • Yeah I know I knew what I was missing out before I got the game. Tbh I kind of like it because now I've got even more stuff to work towards in the taken king and new strikes to learn.

  • That's how I chose to look at it. It means the strike playlist is gonna get suddenly much bigger. Especially since they're doing the alternate versions of them too.
