Suros Weapon pack = Vanguard Armory?
When I first pre ordered vanilla destiny it came with a "vanguard armory" which turned out to be full of green useless guns. Now for the TTK there is a SUROS weapon pack and I'm wondering will it be just as useless as the original vanguard armory I got for preordering destiny. Any thoughts?

1 Replydestiny = letdowns. the cooler something sounds or looks prior to its release in destiny, the bigger the letdown.

3 RepliesDefine useless? The Vanguard Armory wasn't "useless". It helped you better equip yourself in the early stages of the story, when all the drops were white quaility weapons. Give TTK is an expansion that will probably increase our base level to 30...and possibly our light level up to 50. Expect these weapons to be legendary in quality. But---once again----to give you the ability to equip yourself with what are (hopefully) better weapons coming out of the blocks...which you then fill in and around with the game's best weapons. Plus give you a chance to experience (right away) the benefits of working with weapons from different foundries. Both the Suros and Hakke (Vanguard for TTK) foundaries. Then the shader and emblem...... Are they worth it if you're still on the fence about even buying TTK? No. Are they worth it if you'ver already decided you ARE going to buy it....just deciding when? Yes.

Given the massive team bungie has working on destiny, you would think that they would give you 1-3 legendary engrams redeemable (not at that horrid cryptart cause they end up being motes) at the foundry vendor/representative (if there are any?) that would decode into something on par with raid weapons. My thought is to have say 10 different available weapons so that not everyone is rockin the exact same load out. But hey, maybe I'm a bit too creative and care too much about what the community would actually want. Guess that's why I'll never end up working for bungie. lol

3 RepliesThey are weapons to entice you playing TTK which is past endgame mostly. They will be legendaries, unlikely exotics, with a few mediocre to good guns to give you the edge over the competition to begin with.
