What is the point of having 2+ of the same Exotic Weapon?
Why have 2 Ghorns or 2 P&T?
It makes sense if they were rerollable or they gave different stats like the Armor will sometimes give better Disp or Int than current Armor of same kind. But whats the point of two of the same exotics guns.
Some guy said he had 3 Thorns. Why would you go thru that bounty 3 times.
Another example is of a player who posted for more Vault space... But he had 2 TLW and 3 Hawkmoons. Why?

For me its just pure lazyness, so i dont have to constantly be using the app to switch weapons i want.

1 ReplyI keep dupes of the guns I get the most use out of (TLW, Icebreaker, Invective...). I like to keep them in each character. It saves me time to swap in and out of the vault. I also keep dupes of lesser-liked exotic weapons; I save them until I can unlock that top right node with XP-- that way it nets you [b]2 exotic shards [/b]when you discard.

Idk, if you have the time to level duplicate exotics, then go for it. It only takes a minute to transfer weapons through the app, personally i don't see the point.

I never have to use my vault?

I have 3 ghorns, ice breakers, fatebringers. So I usually never touch the vault except for PvP

For multiple characters? This is sort of a dumb question..I think it's obvious. Who wants to keep switching weapons back and forth between charcters. I do it since I don't have multiple exotics and its annoying af

nowadays no point anymore. i find it easiest to switch via the Chrome browser extension. but that is matter of preference maybe old post that was bumped?

One for each character... Switching weapons is still a pain even with the apps.

1 ReplyEdited by cViking: 7/28/2015 11:42:13 AMIt allows you to not have to switch weapons around you use a lot, I use Fate Vision Gjally and blackhammer a lot so I have one on each character, this way I do not have to switch them between characters making it easier and faster going to new characters and giving me more room to switch and store more guns in the vault because I do not need the space to switch weapons back and forth. Now for having more then 3 of a gun, that is just stupid and a waste of space.

I have 3 fatebringers and 3 ghallys. Because they are the most used, and its just easier to have them for each character

Some are worth having so you don't have to keep using the app to swap between characters

Exotics are easy to ascend and it saves doing a lot of swapping. I also keep 3x Blackhammer, Fatebringer and Corrective Measures.
