Why do People make theese type of post? Bungie confirmed that legendaries will be upgradeable with the Taken King. Stop trying to find something you can cry over.

  • People are crying over year 1 legendary weapons possibly(&most likely) not being upgradable into the year two standards that taken king brings us..obviously there will be legendary weapon upgrading, that is a cornerstone of the gameplay, we all are concerned if our weapons we grew to love will be rendered useless in taken king. Which I'm sure they will. Exotics are fairly worrisome as well

  • Which quote are you referring to? I just looked the patch notes over again and see nothing about being able to upgrade year one weapons to the new highest attack value available in year two.

  • They did not directly say it, however if People would just use their brain for a moment you will see that patch 2.0 is the patch that includes TK and we will get that patch at the release of The taken King. So Patch 2.0 = TK In Patch 2.0 Black Hammer, a legendary Weapon gets a nerf, so Question is, why would they nerf a Weapon with the Release of TK that becomes irellevant with the same Patch? Answer is : Old Weapons, Raid Weapons atleast will be upgradeable to year 2 standards, why else would Bungie nerf an old legendary if it would be useless with the release of TK anyways.

  • The raid weapon specific nerfs/ buffs will most likely be there for when they change the difficulty levels of the raids. With 30 becoming the new soft cap i guess they'll just up the original raid weapons to keep the raids relevant for both new and old players.

Its time-to-kill on certain targets would still be ridiculous at its current attack level. I certainly hope you're right, but it's not confirmed.
