Fun was a part of it. And the reason in the first place to grind on those big raids Bungie develops is to hopefully get that special gear that is unlike the rest. And yeah. I'd love to use by Black Hammer years from now and I imagine people will still be doing those raids to get that specialized weapon down the road. Bungie did say they wanted us to be able to use our weapons we collect in the future and make sure they're still usable, so not sure why people are assuming it'll all go away. But yeah. Part of it is to have, never said it wasn't. But let's not kid ourselves at all. A massive massive reason we struggle to learn how to do these raids on hard at start and the biggest reason we gather raid groups even using LFG and to put all those countless hours and days to hopefully get those rare and specialized sought after weapons.
