After all the vault space excuses and their "We want your weapons to have a story" party line, I certainly hope they'll stay consistent and keep them current.
...but it wouldn't surprise me if they flip flopped and pushed the TTK weapons instead.

I think they'll try and push the TTK weapons, but still keep Y1 weapons current..the Y2 weapons will obviously be better to keep you from wanting to go back to the Y1s, but you could still use them if you wanted to.
