He's saying that he doesn't want year one weapons to be upgradeable. People that know how horizontal progression works would agree with him.

I think that's idiotic. Use new guns if you want and people can use old guns if they want.

I see many problems with gettimg rid of guns.

You don't see the problem of not caring about new weapons? One reason HoW failed is because we were given the options to reforge and ascend. That limits the variety of weapons and I'm sure Bungie does not want that to happen again.

Again. Play for fun. Use what ever weapons you want. It's about gameplay and new content. Hell people still play COD 4 because it's amazing.

That's true. Bungie just doesn't us to be using the same few weapons forever.

Blizzard did it successfully with World of Warcraft. With every expansion, new weapons were way better and old ones were garbage.
