Spartan IV vs Power Armor
Ok so my brother and I got into a impassioned dispute about a battle between a Spartan IV and a Fallout 4 power-armor-clad badass. I'd root for the Spartan and my brother would bet on the power armor guy.
My question to you, the Internet, is who would win?

Spartan IV. Obviously. The Spartans themselves were augmented so they can lift their own armor, which if anyone read the Halo books, weighed 1,000 pounds. Not only were they stronger, they became faster. The power armor couldn't keep up with a live Spartan IV.

Edited by Roadkii J: 7/26/2015 7:50:10 AMAs much as the Fallout love I am over Halo, the mjolnir. would definitely beat out the power armor (of any kind in Fallout). Simply put, if you walk into the third floor of the Repconn building in New Vegas, you can find two Brotherhood (Fully Armored) Paladins crushed by falling debris from the wall... So considering Master Chief survived a fall from Space... Twice... The clear winner is mjolnjr. However... Even mjolnir has its weaknesses, especially in water; so if a paladin brought like a water gun or something I'm sure they'd win ;)

Spartans win just because they're augmented demigods with super armor.

Power Armor doesn't have shielding, and usually the wearer does not have augmentations, although one with a plasma rifle could easily take down the Shields of a Spartan. It would be close. 10 RepliesSpartans easily have the advantage. Not only do they had strong armour with shielding, but it also promotes enhanced speed and detection systems, supports different armour abilities like camouflage, and allows use of almost any weapons and vehicles.

Spartan Armor is more advanced but against FO4 power armor it would be close.

While both armors are extremely powerful, and Spartan IVs are equivalent to IIs because of their armor, I think it'd be a tough fight. The Spartan would probably win though. Being faster, and all. We'll have a better idea of who would win depending on if certain models of Power Armor from Fallout have different movement speeds, armor stats, radiation resistance and such.

Spartan armor... It has all the capabilities of power armor, and it's really about the people inside. I'd say a spartan is still a spartan without his armor.

3 RepliesI'd say the T-51B power armor because in fallout four demo gameplay at e3, we saw that Bethesda made the armor almost indestructible. Master chief can only have a shield for a short amount of time. Sorry chief.

While Power Armor is simply a lot cooler, Spartans have shields and their armor feels like a second skin.
