Well, I don't believe they'll be useless. That's like using a 331 weapon now vs a 365. And 331 is standard now without an exotic shard or etheric, which is pretty much 99% of my legendaries and I'm still competitive in pvp and still get the job done in pve, so it ain't that big of a deal. Today, xur had P&T. How many of us actually needed this, who hadn't had it or had it before? My point? If this happens at least each weapon drop and xur will have more meaning, at least for a while. Idk, tbh I could care less if they are ascended, I'm 99% certain legendaries won't be and I'm mentally prepared for news stating the yr1 exotics won't be either. I don't care, I'll adapt and overcome.
