I'm not even sure where to start here. Destiny has one of the most volatile/hate filled/disrespectful communities any game has ever had. This has been known basically since launch. The feedback section is littered with nerf and overall complaining posts. I've seen post where guardians make legitimate posts on the forums only to be bashed and berated by its own community. Most of the posts are made for the better good of the community, such as more vault space posts. This is beneficial for everyone and now people are beginning to see how necessary it is, but when the day one players brought up the issue, this hate-filled community would respond by saying....quit hording guns, quit complaining and delete your gear, I don't have a problem...therefore you shouldn't have on. But those players had 100-400 hours in. When people that had played much longer were at 700-1000 hours. They would be called names and receive endless posts from players berating them for just trying to bring attention to a topic that needed pull. Just read the forums, they're littered with hate...not just for bungie, but eachother. Another issue I've had lately is in pvp and tea bagging. I have friends that when tea bagged, flip out and start blaring profanities at their screen. I've always been the one that said, who gives a shit about those players that do that. That's probably how they act in real life. Some people are just dicks. You can't help everyone. But yesterday I was running strike playlists and usually doubling or more the kills of my team and when I did finally die, my teammate, instead of reviving me, walked to my orb and tea-bagged me. Then he went on with the fight and didn't bother to revive me. This is after running several games with him where I carried him through the strikes, sometimes afk or idle until the boss fight. He actually perched himself on a rock and sat down during the archon priest fight. I had revived him several times without thinking about it. And then he decided to act like this. I was pissed, but just chalked it up to another dickhead playing this game. The kicker came when I played some pvp with two friends. One of them was awesome. He is truly amazing pvp player...and he refuses to play with thorn. He's at the top of every leader board using Ill will or some other legendary weapon. The other guys we played with was his first time in pvp. What we encountered was -blam!-ing despicable. We were obviously getting our asses handed to us in skirmish, but he wanted to play for the experience. We were getting owned 5000 to 1100 and getting tea-bagged throughout the matches at the other teams would control heavy ammo and just drop rockets on us for the remainder of the game. This is smart play, I understand that. You should to that if you can, but literally beating us so badly then tea-bagging after every kill. The player we played with was an older guy that absolutely loves destiny. He played on two consoles and plays every chance he gets. But he had always wanted to play pvp and thought he would finally after a year of playing pve, give destiny pvp a go. He wasn't mad that he got -blam!- every single game (expected that)...but that nearly every team had at least one player that would tea-bag him when they killed him. You didn't just kill a final-rounder! You didn't just kill the #1 guy on our team that owned you 10 times In a row! You didn't kill a guy that thorned you to death (he doesn't even own one)! You have been launching rockets the entire game at a guy that doesn't use thorn or final round and has never played pvp! Then tea-bag???? What the -blam!- is wrong with you?! What the -blam!- is wrong with this community?! Why is it necessary to be a dickhead in pvp? We should be helping eachother when we can and when we are on opposite teams, respecting the other players. Needless to say, after we played about five games like that, he decided he had had enough of destiny's multiplayer community and got off. He won't play again and so all you dickheads just lost another player you could've owned for a while until he got better. So keep tea bagging for no reason you -blam!-in pricks. Not because you tea-bagged a tea-bagger, a thorn over user, a final rounding whore, but just some guy that wanted to try something he hadn't before and got to see what destiny's community really is....a bunch of immature, complaining, egotistical, disrespectful dickheads. To all of you....go -blam!- yourselves! To anyone who has run into some of destiny's finest assholes, tell me your story. Thanks to all who contribute on strikes, play hard, fair and respectable. You are few and far between, but we love it that you're here! Thanks
