Prescope when you know someone is chasing you around a corner. Practice aiming at head level. Understand how aim assist works
-
Turn down sensitivity a bit. Aim a bit higher than body so your at head level brcause its easier to get headshots. Use the right scope, preferibly lower zoom because destinys maps are close range and just practice alot.
-
6 RepliesDon't stay zoomed in all the time because you need to check your radar very often and there's a blaring red light when zoomed. So quickscope. And use prudence II because it has highest aim assist. Also don't use long range scopes in pvp they are useless and a hindrance.

Practise makes perfect. Try running NLB in PvE, that'll sharpen up your aim a little. If you dont mind getting pasted, run it in PvP.
-
Just playing with them more

use a sniper with low aim assist. Use it for a week (e spear). Then get a her benevolence or a good sniper with shortgaze and hidden hand.

1 ReplyStep 1: go on YouTube Step 2: search "kjhovey" Step 3: watch his videos He's a god

Practice, just keep using it. Iv been using a sniper since call of duty 4. Start with a sensitivity that your comfortable with and gradually increase once your reactions time get better. It's all about reactions imo, having a high sensitivity ( I'm used to playing on 10 ) and having snap shot I think is a must have in order to get them quick scopes. Also having map control, knowing where the enemy is, flank points, being unpredictable cause you can't go running in the middle of the map. You'll learn in each map where the good sniping points are and when to use them depending on the enemy's position. It will come naturally and you won't have to think about what your doing, you'll just land them quick shots nearly every time.

From a person who HATES sniping now into a "marksman" (I'm not that GOOD trust me). All you gotta do is force yourself in using the Sniper Rifles (Thank you Trials). Take good seat in the coach, and wait for a victim to pass by your ironsights the minute you see a body shoot it. I'ma leave it there.

Watch truevanguards videos in order. Then mtashed has some aswell
-
It's easy most snipers have high aim assist I'd start with her benevolence.
-
Just snipe every match you will get better eventually. You also don't have to snipe the entire match use your primary a lot and snipe when given the opportunity

Edited by ThisMahSwamp: 7/24/2015 4:31:52 PMEquip NLB and a sniper. Force yourself to git gud. Literally only use snipers in everything you do for a few days.
-
1 ReplyJust start doing it more often and you'll get better over time
-
The first step is spelling correctly
-
The hit box around the head extends about a third of a foot and there is no way to improve without constantly practicing
-
Snipe man. You learn tricks when you get killed.
-
First learn how to spell.
-
Look true vangaurd up. He is a monster and has great tutorials.
-
find a good sniper like her benevolence, longbow synthesis, or ldr, and just stick with it. Also watch true vanguard, hes a beast at sniping
-
Well if you're serious about becoming better with snipers you need to use them. Expect your k/d to drop. I started with the sniper way back when and I'm so glad I did haha
-
Always have sights at head level. You may not notice, but i bet if your having trouble with your sniper, your sights are starting out at body level. At least that was my problem
-
Find a agile sniper with an agile scope, such as LDR 5001
-
Buy some Kontrol Freeks (They're little control stick extenders) and reduce your look sensitivity down to 1-3. You'll be a headshot beast in no time.
-
1 ReplyA quick response: watch True Vanguard on youtube. He's good.

I'm currently trying to get better at sniping as well....and I've learned that practice is the answer. Also, never hold down the sights to aim at multiple targets. Zoom out, line up your target then zoom back in.....QUICKSCOPE
