To start yes I am a little bitter being a player who switched from 360 to ps4 and have a very hard time getting a decent team together, so no need to point it out now. But seriously why are they locked behind a pvp activity as they make no difference in pvp, the entire point of having elements on are weapons is to drop shields in pve, so why lock the stupidly rare primaries with elements on them behind pvp when they are only really useful in pve, wouldn't it make sense to put them as rewards in pve as those are the players who will use them most? And I know there are element primaries from poe 35 but they are completely random and rarely drop, and the perks are based soley on fallen so they are not particularly useful for 3/4 of the game, and why have solar or void damage with a burn against captains? Captains have arc shields so once again other then arc element they are kind of useless. Also the lighthouse elemental and 100 times better then the poe, due to better design and perks useful in any situation, just comparing the pulse rifles, where the poe is a crappy fallen burn and low impact, where the messenger is high impact with perks effective with any enemy type. Basically it seems pretty stupid to lock the weapons your pve players will use far more then pvp due to pvp not having elemental shields behind a pvp wall, kind of blaming on your pve players and having the weapons completely backwards, these weapons should have been obtainable in pve and the exotics should have also been available in pvp, bungie get your heads out of your blams and stop locking content, that goes for console and product locking as well, I am sure I am not the only player that is beyond sick of it.

1 ReplyDepends on What weapons youre looking at. The messenger and the summoner from trials are better than their poe counterparts, but the handcannon from poe FAR outshines the jewel imo. Third eye and icarus? Whoop de doo. One man army, now thats awesome on a handcannon. The scout rifle isnt half Bad either imo. So yeah, its Not all Bad. And poe 35 is manageable, just gotta play more defensively, People tend to play way too aggressive and then get stomped by skolas.

3 RepliesSkolas is hard as all F. I got him to below half my first attempt then I got him to 20% and still haven't killed his ass yet. Some people like to fight the AI and others like to play against real players like themselves who strategize and work PvP like super humans. I won only 1match when I entered Osiris and yeah, its cause all the best players in PvP just spam trials and us lesser PvP folk get screwed. It's pretty much impossible for me and I average 2.0+ in crucible. There are a ton of good weapons besides the new trials weapons. I agree that PvE players like muah, kinda got the lame hand this time but... We have VoG and Crota bruh PvP players had nothing till now. It makes sense to put elements on their weapons so they can dabble in PvE after their hard work in PvP. Is it unfair that we can't have weapons for both PvP and PvE. Maybe, but I use my PvE gear in crucible and have no problems. Not much difference in the gear, but the weapons yeah. It's a whole other world PvP. I'm sure people that good at PvP wont just stroll into Skolas and spank him unless they get crazy lucky. Lightswitch Skolas is hardcore shit.

5 RepliesBecause there are some people that do pvp alot and need som good element weapons for the times they play pve like the weekly nightfall and stuff like that. + the best element weapon are also in pve like the fatebringer, vision of confluense, word of crota, fang of yut, abyss defiant, is good for fun so its optinal and the six dreg something something something with solar and shank burn can be good also. If you feel like this list is missing some guns (that you can get in pve) fell free to say so.

1 ReplyIt's their carrot and stick approach to get more people to play PVP, their own numbers suggested it needed an increase. But why they chose to neglect the larger PVE player base for that is beyond comprehension. This has been criticized here in the forum a lot of times, they always say they are listening, but it seems they are only hearing what they want to here. Most of the conclusions seem very strange.

3 RepliesWhile I agree with you on the topic of PoE drops (just got my second 35 done for the week and received my second Aegis of the Kell II in void THIS WEEK while nobody else got anything either time) I must insist that all the trials weapons are totally PvP themed. Granted, elements are worth complete -blam!- all in PvP, but third eye, head seeker, hidden hand, icarus, so on, are all completely PvP-oriented perks. Yes, it's hard to go flawless. And this weekend, it'll be much, much harder, but that's because you're not playing against a stationary AI program week after week with minimal variation in the runs. Try to give a little slack, even where it's hard to do so.
