I hear the argument... But I don't equate gameplay being "easy" or "difficult" with getting a team together manually or not.
Raids are hard... And should be...
Getting a team together to play them WITHIN THE GAME should not be difficult. Optional matchmaking is the answer.

Fair enough, but I'd hate to see Raids turn into Strikes with matchmaking.

Agreed, strikes don't give you an option.
